Beautifully Inspired Marie

I can't believe I have been on my mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints a whole year today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I have been serving the Lord with all I have and will for another 6 months!  But it is sad to see that the time has flown by.  I have met so many amazing people and I have loved them all! I have served in some great areas too!  I want to share what I know to be true: I know that my Redeemer Lives! I know that Christ died for all of my sins because He loves ME! I know that I am a Child of God! I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to be THE true church! I know that Joseph Smith was a Prophet called of God! I know that the Book of Mormon is true and it contains God's words! I know that we have a living Prophet on this Earth name Thomas S. Monson! I know all of this to be true and more!

Today is the day I have been away from my home, family and friends for 9 months!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! These 9 months have gone by sooooooooooooo fast! I can't believe in another 9 months I'll be home though.  I left home 9 months ago to serve a full time mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I have loved serving the people in the Utah Ogden area and I will continue too for another 9 months! I KNOW this church is true! I KNOW my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ LIVE! I KNOW that Christ loves me so much that he would suffer and die for me and EVERYONE! I KNOW that we have a LIVING Prophet called of God named Thomas S. Monson! I KNOW because of this gospel I can live FOREVER with my family because of Temples! I LOVE this gospel so much! I am sacrificing 18 months of my life to serve and I love doing it! A testimony is worth sharing! My testimony of Christ is so dear to me for many reasons and I love sharing it. He died for ME! Me. Someone who isn't always the best and someone who doesn't always do the right thing. But that is everyone. He died for everyone. Even the people we don't know. The homeless, the poor, the needy, the righteous and the unrighteous. If He didn't die for me I wouldn't be able to return to live with my Heavenly Father again. I am so thankful that He did that for me. He only did that beloved act because He loves me so much, more than I can comprehend. Also I KNOW that He lives! I know it with every fiber of my being! And because He lives I can live again. Christ is so perfect and it is exactly that reason that only He could do that nameless act that He performed for everyone. I have a strong testimony that the Book Of Mormon is true! I love it and I read it everyday. I constantly pray to have a reassurance that it is true. I know with all of my heart, might, mind and soul that it is TRUE! The reason I pray constantly to know that it is true is to have an unwavering testimony of it. I know Joseph Smith translated it for the world to read. I don't want to hide the principles and teachings it has of Jesus Christ in it from the world. I know it is ANOTHER Testament of Jesus Christ that HE LIVES! And that He loves ALL nations kindred, tongue and people. If our Heavenly Father wants to give us more scriptures to know that He and His son live how dare we say they can't! This wonderful book does NOT replace the Bible!
