Beautifully Inspired Marie

Yesterday was a crazy day! It SNOWED! At points when it wasn't gusting winds and hailing it was beautiful don't get me wrong I still want my Spring :) I have talked a little about today's simple principle before but it is never a bad idea to do it again. Called of God? "Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you" ( John 15:16 ) We don't randomly pick a person to do the work of God. He is chosen by God to do the work. Prophecy ? "I will be with thy mouth, and teach thee what thou shalt say." ( Exodus 4:12 ) A prophecy may pertain to the past, present, or future. 12. The officers must be called of God. Called of God To be called of God is to receive an appointment or invitation from him or his duly authorized Church leaders to serve him in a particular way. Being called of God also goes with one of the Articles of Faith , "We believe that a man must be called of God, by prophecy, and by the laying on of hands by those who are in authority, to preach the Gospel and administer in the ordinances thereof." I have been called to serve as well. When I opened up my mission call this is what I read: You are hereby called to serve as a missionary of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. That means so much to me!
